Helen Howison RN MSc

Helen has over 20 years of nursing experience with 15 of those spent as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. She holds an MSc in Advanced Practice for Healthcare Professionals. After working as an oncology ward sister, Helen became a lung cancer and mesothelioma clinical nurse specialist.

​

In her current role as a Macmillan Cancer Information Nurse Specialist, Helen shares her knowledge with patients via the national support service that enables patients and their families to access specialist holistic cancer information to assist them at any stage in their cancer illness.

​

This nursing experience has informed Helen’s work in providing expert witness reports for clients with asbestos-related illness, where she takes a holistic approach to assessment and care recommendations.

​

Helen has augmented her expert witness skills with Bond Solon “Excellence in Report Writing” (October 2019) along with Bond Solon “Courtroom Skills” (April 2021).  Helen is fully accredited by Bond Solon as an expert witness.
